Radiological Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, ensuring safe radiation protection practices.
- Prepare patients for examination, explaining procedures and providing instructions as needed.
- Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management procedures, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, including data entry and patient demographics.
- Assist with departmental orientations, in-service presentations, and demonstrations of procedures.
- Participate in approved research and special projects, collaborating with supervisor and other healthcare professionals.
Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
