Job Title: Field & Infusion Nurse (RPN/LPN)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Field & Infusion Nurse (RPN/LPN) to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support in home and specialty clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and support the administration of IV infusion treatments in home and clinic settings.
  • Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments and chart/report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation.
  • Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups.
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
  • Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling, and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information.
  • Perform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering, and other duties as assigned.
  • Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE, and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.
  • Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product-specific programs.
  • Required to travel within your designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet operational needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Experience with IV therapy is an asset.
  • Diploma/University degree in nursing or related field.
  • Current registration with provincial licensing body; CPR certificate.
  • Experience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting.
  • ACLS, PALs, MS, and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assets.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger team.
  • Able to travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundary.
  • Cell phone for making and confirming appointments/assignments.
  • Flexibility to provide services for pre-scheduled and occasional last-minute patient appointment requests.
  • Effective organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in both a team and independent setting.
  • Able to travel within a geographical boundary.
  • Hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and insurance coverage.
