Restaurant Operations Manager

Bar.B.Q 1988 is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Financial Management: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and manage expenses to ensure the restaurant operates within budget.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel and have travel expenses paid by employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, and a team player.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 37.5 hours per week.
- English Language: Work language is English.
