Restaurant Operations Manager

Bar.B.Q 1988 is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Manage Restaurant Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Develop and Implement Operational Procedures: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Monitor and Control Costs: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial management.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel and have travel expenses paid by employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, and ability to multitask.
