A high-paying contract position is available for a Project Controls Coordinator to oversee the successful execution of a major oil and gas project in Calgary, Alberta.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost and scheduling controls, with a strong understanding of pipeline operations and terminal management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and record daily Labor, Equipment, and Material tickets (LEMS) for cost and man hour information.
  • Conduct critical analysis of project costs and budget.
  • Interface with contractors to ensure correct rates and estimates are provided for updating reports.
  • Review and validate invoices to ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Work in Oracle Cloud and with Accounts Payable group to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices.
  • Compile scheduled and ad hoc reporting as required by project personnel.
  • Attend and participate in program and contractor update meetings.
  • Actively participate in the program team, working closely with Project Managers, Project Controls Advisors, and Field Control Advisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High proficiency with MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Software experience with MS Office Suite and Oracle or SAP.
  • Experience in utilizing the Ecosys program for project controls.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, organization, planning, and leadership skills.
  • University degree or related construction or operational training and/or experience.
  • Construction experience related to cost and scheduling controls of multi-discipline projects.
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per yearAbout Airswift
