Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
As a Medical Services Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of respiratory therapy services to clients across Canada. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Initiating and monitoring prescribed respiratory therapy in clients' homes, including assessments, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance
- Delivery and exchange of equipment in clients' homes, which may involve heavy lifting of equipment up to 60lbs
- In-home client visits, which may require long-distance travel
- In-office consultations with sleep and oxygen clients
- Conducting respiratory equipment in-service training with community partners
- Promoting products and services to referral sources and building high-quality relationships with clients and partners
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with current registration or LPN
- Minimum 2 years related experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Attention to detail and results-oriented approach
- Able to work under pressure and maintain a sense of urgency
- Commitment to client and personal safety
