Job Summary

Lafarge Canada is seeking a skilled Asphalt Screed Operator to join our team in Prince George, BC. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating the screed on our paving machines, ensuring the depth and width of the asphalt meet specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the depth and width of the asphalt to exact specifications.
  • Shovel asphalt into holes and areas inaccessible to the paving machine.
  • Provide exceptional internal customer service and exceed expectations.
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental requirements.
  • Perform related work as assigned.
  • Deliver high-quality work and meet productivity standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience as a paving screed operator.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of quality work.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, and in all weather conditions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
