About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Team Leader at Co-op. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading and developing your team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and welcoming service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage and maintain store standards, including visual merchandising and stock levels.
  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
