About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Team Leader to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the store team, coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members, and delivering great customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and thoughtful service to customers, taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations.
  • Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected.
  • Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
  • Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers.
  • Support your store manager by deputising when they're not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
  • Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store, working closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback.
  • Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
