About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sugar Roll Japanese Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations
  • Train and mentor staff to improve skills and knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
