Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Team Leader to join our team at TransportCorp. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute plans to prioritize tasks, manage inventory, and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Lead Logistics Team: Supervise and train logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of logistics processes.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of logistics activities.
  • Prepare Reports and Analyze Data: Compile and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and prepare reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Ensure that all logistics activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that high-quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
