Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Team Leader to join our team at TransportCorp. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement logistics plans to ensure efficient and effective transportation of goods and materials.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to logistics team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to team members.
