Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks, optimize logistics operations, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Communication: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of goods and materials.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, analytical, and proactive.
