We are seeking a Cooperative Assurance Specialist to join our team in January/May 2025. This role involves efficiently utilizing technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments, preparing and completing working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards, and gathering evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and implement technical knowledge from courses to ensure high-quality work products.
  2. Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements within regulatory guidelines.
  3. Gather and analyze evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements to support client needs.
  4. BUILD POSITIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND EFFECTIVELY RESPOND TO REQUESTS AND SUGGESTIONS.
  5. COMMUNICATE PROGRESS UPDATES AND ISSUES WITH TEAM MEMBERS IN A TIMELY AND EFFECTIVE MANNER.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma focused in accounting.
  • Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative to seek understanding.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
