Electrical Project Manager Job Description

KMR Innovations Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead our team of electricians. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 10 field electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in the electrical trade or equivalent.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to resolve complex electrical project issues.
  • Training and Development: Train and lead a team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Equivalent to a high school diploma or higher.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in the electrical trade or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and train a team.
  • Certifications: Valid Canadian Driver's license with a clean driving record.
