Job Summary

The Change Management & Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Elevate Business Transformation Program at CN. This individual is responsible for facilitating change management, technical training, and communication activities to ensure a seamless transition to new systems, processes, and ways of working.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis for various change initiatives and projects.
  • Support the development and execution of change management plans, including communication, training, and sustainment activities.
  • Design and deliver training programs, utilizing adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Coordinate and manage training logistics, such as scheduling, registration, and evaluation.
  • Develop training materials and resources, including job aids, quick reference guides, presentations, and videos.
  • Ensure training materials are available in English and French for end users in Sharepoint, Learning Management System, and SAP Enable Now.
  • Monitor and evaluate the outcomes and benefits of change and training interventions, using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Draft communications, follow review cycles, and approvals, and ensure communication and training plans are up-to-date.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on change and training effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners and vendors.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and developments in organizational change management and training.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development Specialist and the Change Management team to find improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.

  • Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French).
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, education, or related field.
  • Experience in organizational change management or training will be an asset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, e-learning authoring, and communication tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
