Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Process Control Specialist to join our team at our Moncton Remote Operations Center (ROC). As an integral part of our ROC, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling plant production equipment in a safe manner, making process adjustments in response to operational and quality needs. Your expertise in process control systems, automation, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering will enable you to analyze trends and data to make informed decisions about process improvements.

About the Role


  • Actively collaborate with peers and other departments to ensure the highest standards in safety, environmental performance, quality, and efficiency are achieved.
  • Maintain shift operation records and exchange information with others during shift changes or otherwise as necessary.
  • Communicate with onsite operations personnel, maintenance technicians, supervisors, process engineers and others to coordinate production and quality requirements.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the process, collaborating with lab technicians and making decisions required to maintain product quality.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze various process trends and information; apply knowledge gained to define problems, establish facts, and determine valid conclusions to drive process efficiencies and improvements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:


  • A post-secondary education with an Engineering degree or technical certification (previous experience demonstrating an advanced process control background will be considered).
  • A minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is preferred.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions in a short timeframe.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong active listening skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills.

Salary Information

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.
