Purchasing Control Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Control Specialist to join our team at Salt & Pepper Canada Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and filing
  • Process files and paperwork related to purchases and sales
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Calculate costs of orders and ensure accurate invoicing
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records
  • Review requisition orders for accuracy and verify stock availability
  • Compile inventory reports and conduct quality control
  • Maintain stock rotation and verify receipts and packing slips
Work Environment:

Our office is air-conditioned and located in a business setting. As a Purchasing Control Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
