Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight support and care to children and youth, including regular bed checks and assistance with night-time routines.
- Assist with morning routines, including wake-up calls, breakfast preparation, and personal care.
- Drive school-aged children to school on school days.
- Be a positive role model and provide guidance and support to children and youth.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and deliver programs and services.
- Complete paperwork and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Child and Youth Work, preferably in a group home or community setting.
- Experience working with Indigenous children and youth is an asset.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Work, or a related field.
- First Aid/CPR certification and training in crisis intervention and medication administration.
- Indigenous Awareness and cultural diversity training.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
