Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Trust and Estate Director to lead our team in providing exceptional administration, relationship management, and sales to our Trust and Estate clients. As a trusted advisor, you will provide leadership and technical expertise for all aspects of Trust and Estate account management and administration to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies to grow existing relationships and develop new business.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to team members responsible for fiduciary account management.
  • Manage trust, agency, or probate accounts in the role of trustee.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders for making business decisions and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage a business/group program to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Perform sales and service support activities as required to meet client needs and maintain overall service levels.
  • Provide administrative support to team members and relationship managers, including financial reports, asset and account reconciliation, compliance, trade activity, posting, fee collection, and other related activities.
  • Meet high-quality service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.
  • Develop rapport and instill confidence with clients to develop credibility and earn their trust.
  • Follow through on risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure we safeguard our customers' assets, maintain their privacy, act in their best interests, and ensure an effectively run function.
  • Protect the Bank's assets and comply with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements.
Requirements
  • Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional Certifications and/or Advanced Degrees preferred: JD and TEP.
  • Expert knowledge and technical proficiency related to private wealth management strategies, issues, and trends.
  • Broad and diverse background in the financial service industry and expert knowledge of the banking services for the high net worth (HNW) markets.
  • Expert knowledge of all applicable compliance and industry regulations.
  • Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.
  • Verbal and written communication skills - Expert.
