Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director, Trust to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of trust professionals and providing strategic direction to ensure alignment with our objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of trust professionals to provide high-quality administration, relationship management, and sales to Trust & Estate clients.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise for all aspects of Trust & Estate account management and administration to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow existing relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards.
  • Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards to monitor performance and track issues.
  • Lead change management programs to implement operational improvements and ensure quality of execution.
  • Develop and manage business/group programs to drive results and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative support to team members and relationship managers, including financial reports, asset & account reconciliation, compliance, trade activity, posting, fee collection, and other related activities.
Requirements
  • Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional Certifications and/or Advanced Degrees preferred: JD and TEP.
  • Expert knowledge and technical proficiency related to private wealth management strategies, issues, and trends.
  • Broad and diverse background in the financial service industry and expert knowledge of banking services for the high net worth (HNW) markets.
  • Expert knowledge of all applicable compliance and industry regulations.
  • Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - Expert.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - Expert.
  • Influence skills - Expert.
  • Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration - Expert.
  • Able to manage ambiguity.

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $103,500.00 - $192,500.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
