Job Title: Regional Director of Operations

First Transit Canada is seeking a highly skilled Regional Director of Operations to join our team in British Columbia or Alberta. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our operations team and drive success in our region.

Job Purpose:

The Regional Director of Operations will work closely with Branch Managers and staff to ensure superior levels of service are delivered to both internal and external customers. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to motivate and develop employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to operations teams, ensuring effective management of resources and delivery of results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to identify and address operational issues, and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees, to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct facility evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
