Job Title: Healthcare Parking Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Parking Agent to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Parking Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff at our hospital site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present a visible and alert presence to deter potential security threats
  • Employ strong customer service skills to greet, assist, and direct members of the public visiting the premises
  • Ensure the safety and security of all people, buildings, and assets on PCH property
  • Investigate and report on any PCH parking lot incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to properly and efficiently provide photo ID and access cards for Providence Care sites
  • Ability to handle large sums of cash, provide collection audit, verify coin count, and coin deposit receipts
  • Ability to troubleshoot the parking gates and provide service to patrons using the parking system and gates
  • Administrative duties as required
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
  • Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
  • A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
  • Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire
  • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
  • Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of non-healthcare security experience preferred
  • Must be able to commit to full-time availability for no less than 6 months
  • English proficiency (oral & written) is required
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
  • 6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
