Job Summary

Parking Security Specialist needed to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff at Providence Care Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.

Key Responsibilities

Present a visible and alert presence
Employ strong customer service skills to greet, assist, and direct members of the public
Ensure the safety and security of all people, buildings, and assets on PCH property
Investigate and report on any parking lot incidents in a timely and professional manner
Provide photo ID and access cards for Providence Care sites
Handle large sums of cash, provide collection audit, verify coin count, and coin deposit receipts
Troubleshoot parking gates and provide service to patrons
Perform administrative duties as required
Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certificate
Ability to be clean-shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine
Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check
Minimum 6 months of healthcare security experience preferred
English proficiency (oral and written) is required
Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
