Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and transferring
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Completed a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent
  • Experience working in a home care or long-term care setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
