As a Showroom Consultant at EMCO Corporation, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs, while ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in assessing their needs and providing expert product recommendations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, home builders, and architects to drive sales growth
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes, as well as reliable delivery dates
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and gross profit targets
  • Enter orders and quotes into the system, while maintaining proactive communication with customers
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and literature to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Drive showroom sales through effective promotions and display materials
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations at customer locations and the EMCO Corporation facility
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales; plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of products on display at the showroom
  • Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold in the plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showrooms
  • Experience using Trend and Eclipse
