Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Lovely Pao Manufacturing Corp.

Job Summary

The Wholesale Buyer will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale, negotiating prices and discounts with suppliers, and maintaining adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Arrange product according to planogram to ensure optimal display and sales.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
  • Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay informed about new products and trends.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including database software, spreadsheet, internet, and MS Excel.
  • Specialization/experience in business sales and services, including sales, buying, merchandise needs analysis, market analysis, product selection, negotiation, distribution, pricing, product development, and merchandising or window.
