Floral Department Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Floral Manager to join our team at Fortinos. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the floral department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a courteous and personalized experience for all customers.
- Establish and maintain accurate costs and retail pricing, under the direction of the franchisee, to maximize gross profits.
- Oversee the daily operations of the garden centre and other seasonal programs, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
- Develop and implement innovative floral designs, ensuring a consistent and high-quality product offering.
- Recruit, train, and supervise floral department employees, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Ensure the maintenance of safety procedures and sanitation standards, as per company policy.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring excellent customer relations at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three to five years' experience in the floral industry, preferably with two years of management experience.
- Post-secondary education in floral design or specialized on-the-job training.
- Competent working knowledge of plant and flower care.
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
