Position Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for spearheading a range of internal and external initiatives aimed at optimizing business objectives for our key accounts. You will collaborate closely with National Key Account Managers, overseeing various banners and ensuring alignment with corporate strategies. The role reports directly to the National Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development - Collaborate with the National Account Manager to formulate customer strategies, presentations, and programs designed to meet sales and profitability goals. Data Management and Analysis - Utilize diverse data sources (including customer/internal sales reports, market analytics, and trends) to gain comprehensive insights into the marketplace and propose growth strategies. Forecasting - Enhance internal and external forecasting capabilities to optimize inventory levels and accuracy, while preparing sales forecasts for production. Trade Spend Management - Assist in managing budgets aligned with account objectives effectively. Field Sales Operations Development - Create and support promotional materials and tools for effective execution in the field, while nurturing relationships with existing clients. Internal Coordination - Ensure internal teams remain focused on the successful implementation of customer programs and opportunities. Action Planning - Develop detailed action plans to achieve sales and profit targets based on a thorough understanding of customer needs and market opportunities. Collaboration with Commercial Planning - Work closely with the Commercial Planning team to support the launch of new products. Documentation Preparation - Assist in creating deal sheets, listing forms, and deductions. Reporting - Prepare presentations, business reviews, and sales reports that highlight areas for improvement and potential business opportunities.Qualifications
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or account management.Competencies
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Strong communication and presentation skills; Excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of interacting effectively across various departments; Strong time management and prioritization skills; Customer-focused mindset; Leadership qualities; Results-driven approach; Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Willingness to travel as required; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.-
