Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Client Relationship Specialist to join our team at Equitable Life of Canada. As a key member of our client-facing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation of new business, working closely with policyholders, advisors, and head office staff to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Provide exceptional support to our Group Account Executives, helping them to deliver outstanding results.
  • Process complex amendments and specialized employee notices, requiring a high level of attention to detail and technical expertise.
  • Coordinate and maintain high levels of policyholder service, including developing and maintaining relationships with group plan administrators.
  • Deliver employee benefit presentations, responding to inquiries from policyholders, certificate holders, advisors, and head office staff on complex administrative or escalated claim situations.
  • Work under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of prior experience with group, life, and health products is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Group Product knowledge is essential.
  • Knowledge of government plans as they integrate with group plans.
  • Post-secondary education and training in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sound knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Bilingual skills (French/English) are an asset.
