Overview

Sonova AG, a global leader in innovative hearing solutions, is seeking a Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we have a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics to anticipate future trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with global Hearing Instruments marketing, sales, and R&D teams to shape strategic brand and pipeline decisions based on market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Monitor competitive activities on a manufacturer, brand, and product/solution level, providing timely insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate market/competitive news and implications for Sonova to internal stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
  • Analyze third-party, syndicated data and develop actionable insights using PowerBI.
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships across a matrixed, international organization and influence key decision makers.
  • Work in partnership with regions to ensure local/global synergies, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with other functions, including data & analytics, marketing operations, and foster an environment of innovation within the Market Insights team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master's Degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or Psychology; MBA is an asset.
  • 10+ years of experience in similar business-facing roles, ideally in healthcare/medical devices, with experience in global, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in generating meaningful insights from various primary and secondary data sources.
  • Ability to distill and interpret information from multiple sources into clear, actionable stories with consideration of implications for strategic priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently to meet internal timelines.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information and data.
  • Ability to build strong relations with internal and external stakeholders.
