Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and talented individual to join our team as an Infrastructure Solutions Architect. As a key member of our field sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales for our Data Center product line and working with public sector accounts in the province of Quebec.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Customer Relationships

Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customer accounts across various technical users and influencers.

Develop and Deliver Technical Content

Develop and deliver technical content across a broad customer audience, including presentations, proposals, and other sales materials.

Architect Solutions

Architect solutions for the Data Center from our portfolio of products and partnerships, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Drive Sales Objectives

Drive and support sales objectives to meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets, working closely with regional sales teams and partners.

Author Technical Responses

Act as the author for technical responses to proposal requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

Configure and Demonstrate Solutions

Drive configurations, demos, and interoperability issues to achieve client solution needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Strong Technical Skills

Candidate must have strong technical skills in server and desktop virtualization, software-defined solutions, cloud, storage, business continuity, systems management, and data center operations.

Experience with Lenovo Products

Candidate must have experience with Lenovo's Data Center product line, including SDI platforms, Linux, Windows Server, and systems management products.

Business Acumen

Candidate must have a strong understanding of business transformation and solution-selling approaches, with the ability to articulate Lenovo's vision, strategy, and architectural approach to a wide variety of Data Center solution spaces.

Communication Skills

Candidate must be fully bilingual, both written and verbal, in French and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Education and Experience

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, computer engineering, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a Sales Engineer role with a proven track record in leading and winning major server, networking, and/or storage business to Data Center clients.
