Job Summary:
Northern Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Specialist to join their team. As an EMR Adoption Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful adoption of electronic medical records across various healthcare facilities and communities.

About the Role:
This dynamic position requires a strong clinical background, IT experience, and exceptional coaching and change management skills. You will provide at-the-elbow guidance and coaching to healthcare professionals, supporting them in increasing their satisfaction and effective use of EMR systems. Your expertise will also be sought after by operational leaders, regional programs, and clinical informatics teams to resolve issues related to EMR training, design, build, and support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to healthcare professionals on EMR system usage
- Collaborate with site operational leaders, regional programs, and clinical informatics teams to resolve EMR-related issues
- Develop and implement strategies for EMR adoption and sustainable use
- Conduct analysis and evaluation of EMR system performance and provide recommendations for improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare or health informatics discipline
- Current practicing registration with a provincial College or Association (for regulated healthcare professionals)
- Strong professional development in areas such as IM/IT, process improvement, change management, project management, group facilitation
- Minimum 5-7 years of front-line clinical care experience and working in clinical operations and/or clinical systems

Salary Range:
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $88,990 to $111,237, based on education, training, experience, and comparable positions in the region.
