We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northern Health Authority.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist to highlight their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with departmental policies.
Key Responsibilities- Operating advanced nuclear medicine equipment to capture high-quality images
- Maintaining accurate patient records and monitoring patients during procedures
- Performing routine quality control tests on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Monitoring areas using appropriate detection devices to maintain a safe working environment
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with shifts rotating between 07:00 to 15:18 and 08:00 to 16:18. This position requires flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the department.

Qualifications and Skills- Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Demonstrated ability to complete initial and ongoing client assessments, communicate effectively, and problem-solve using critical thinking skills
- Experience working with EMR, RIS, and Windows-based systems, as well as data analysis and reporting tools
Estimated Salary: $73,500 - $90,500 per year, depending on experience.
