Underwater Systems Application Specialist

Role Overview: As an Underwater Systems Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical support and expertise to our clients, gaining comprehensive exposure to our innovative products.
This dynamic position is perfect for individuals eager to engage with intricate underwater robotics systems and oversee the integration of Voyis' products as sensor payloads on subsea vehicles, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-sale project feasibility assessments.
- Provide front-line customer support.
- Assist clients with hardware and software integrations into their subsea vehicles.
- Facilitate customer training sessions to ensure successful implementation.
- Offer both remote and on-site support, including frequent travel to customer locations for integrations and demonstrations.
- Learn and apply software methodologies for processing optical data into 3D model deliverables, assisting clients in adopting these techniques.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer technical support, effectively communicating to diagnose issues and directing them to the appropriate internal teams.
- Execute data processing tasks to generate 3D data outputs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training documentation.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Support, Surveying, or Data Processing.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
- General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, networking, and software systems.
- Familiarity with subsea survey or exploration methodologies.
- Experience in offshore or ocean survey projects.
- Proficiency in data processing techniques, including photo processing, 3D modeling, point clouds, photogrammetry, and GIS.
- Exposure to software programming.
