Job Title: Quality Assurance Auditor

At IMP Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and review quality management system documentation to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal company requirements.
  • Conduct audits, write detailed reports, and provide briefs to stakeholders.
  • Initiate corrective actions, assess response plans, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Perform necessary audit follow-up, including communicating with auditees on the status of action resolution.
  • Conduct product compliance reviews, including documentation.
  • Carry out aircraft quality product conformance and verifications, write reports, and initiate appropriate action.
  • Participate in technical investigations, assess/evaluate results, and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and approvals.
  • Participate in the Safety Management Program and 6S surveys.
  • Liaise with departments and external customers on quality matters.
  • Draft reports and correspondence, maintain records, and files.
  • Participate in and support the Quality Department training program.
Requirements:
  • DEC or bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field and/or coursework preferred.
  • Graduate Technologist/Technician or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, or repair and overhaul.
  • 1 year experience in a quality assurance/quality control role.
  • 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Formal aerospace avionics/electrical/mechanical background.
  • Sound knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent QMS system.
  • Must be knowledgeable on Quality Procedures related to the aerospace industry.
  • Must have strong, proven writing skills, be comfortable using Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Can communicate effectively, lead discussions, and chair meetings.
  • Be able to prioritize workload to balance multiple assignments.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment and fully comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Quality Management certification, an asset.
