Quality Assurance Specialist

At IMP Group, we are committed to excellence in all aspects of our business. As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our quality management system is effective and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain our Quality Management System documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough audits, write detailed reports, and provide briefings to stakeholders.
- Initiate corrective actions, assess response plans, and conduct follow-up verifications to ensure compliance.
- Perform product compliance reviews, including documentation, to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Carry out aircraft quality product conformance and verification, write reports, and initiate appropriate actions.
- Participate in technical investigations, assess results, and provide recommendations to improve our quality management system.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and approvals to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Participate in the Safety Management Program and 6S surveys to identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with internal departments and external customers on quality matters, providing expert guidance and support.
- Draft reports, correspondence, and maintain records and files to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Participate in and support the Quality Department's training program to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- DEC or bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field, with coursework in quality management or a related field.
- Graduate Technologist/Technician or equivalent work experience in aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, or repair and overhaul.
- 3 years' experience in a quality assurance/quality control role, with a strong understanding of AS9100 or equivalent QMS systems.
- 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving results.
- Formal aerospace avionics/electrical/mechanical background, with a strong understanding of quality procedures related to the aerospace industry.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on MS Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions and chair meetings.
- Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple assignments, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Personal commitment to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment, with a strong understanding of Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
- Quality Management certification, an asset.
