Quality Assurance Auditor

At IMP Group, we are committed to excellence in all aspects of our business. As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our quality management system is effective and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain IEAG Quality Management System documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with contractual, regulatory, and internal company requirements.
  • Conduct thorough audits, write detailed reports, and provide briefings to stakeholders.
  • Initiate corrective actions, assess response plans, and conduct root cause analyses to identify and address quality issues.
  • Perform follow-up verifications to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Conduct product compliance reviews, including documentation, to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Carry out aircraft quality product conformance and verification, write reports, and initiate appropriate actions.
  • Participate in technical investigations, assess results, and provide recommendations to improve quality processes.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and approvals to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Participate in the Safety Management Program and 6S surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with IEAG departments and external customers on quality matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Draft reports and correspondence, maintain records, and files to ensure accurate and transparent documentation.
  • Participate in and support the Quality Department's training program to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
  • DEC or bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field, or equivalent coursework.
  • Graduate Technologist/Technician or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, or repair and overhaul.
  • 1 year experience in a quality assurance/quality control role.
  • 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Formal aerospace avionics/electrical/mechanical background.
  • Sound knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent QMS system.
  • Strong, proven writing skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to chair meetings and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment, and comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Quality Management certification, an asset.
