We are seeking highly motivated security professionals to join our team at Securitas Inc. in a physical security environment.

Job Summary

This role involves protecting assets and safeguarding people, with a focus on de-escalating tense situations and responding to medical emergencies.

Responsibilities
  • Tense Situation Management: Utilize verbal communication techniques to reduce risk and de-escalate conflicts.
  • Escort Services: Escort medical staff, including paramedics, police, and firefighters, as required.
  • Medical Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if necessary.
  • Access Control: Unlock and lock doors for authorized personnel, denying entry to unauthorized individuals.
  • Coverage Enhancement: Assist with coverage at various sites to enhance security at strategic locations.
  • Security Breach Procedures: Notify supervisors or appropriate personnel when security breaches occur, following established protocols.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities, performing dispatch duties for the site, including emergency response.
  • Foot Patrols: Perform regular foot patrols inside and outside the facility.
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Security License: Possess a valid Ontario security license.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification: Hold a valid first aid and CPR certificate.
  • Security Experience: Minimum 6 months of security experience in large-scale security operations, preferred.
  • Thorough Understanding: Have a thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response.
  • Driver's License: Possess a G or G2 class driver's license, with a vehicle required for travel to sites.
  • Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience is a strong asset.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $18.00/hr+, depending on site, with a minimum of $18.00/hr.
