Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operator to join our team at Paladin Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our security personnel in the field, monitoring access control and CCTV systems, and acting as the first point of contact between our staff, the public, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the dispatching of security and operations personnel to calls for assistance and building maintenance services as required.
  • Operate two-way communications systems to ensure effective communication with team members.
  • Monitor access control and CCTV systems to assist in the follow-up on reported incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Coordinate incident response, including activating emergency services and directing security and operations personnel on required actions during incidents and emergencies.
  • Maintain logs on the reported activities of security and operations personnel in the field to facilitate effective record-keeping.
Qualifications:
  • Three years working in a commercial and/or government security environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Previous leadership and supervisory experience is essential.
  • Good understanding of control center procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent knowledge of access control, CCTV, and life safety systems.
