About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic services team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex diagnostic equipment, interpreting results, and performing cardiovascular procedures.

Job Description

In this role, you will work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital setting, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments. You will operate electromyography and diagnostic equipment, monitor cardiac activity, and record results. Additionally, you will perform cardiovascular procedures, such as electrocardiographs, cardiac ultrasound, and other electronic tests.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: College diploma or certificate from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiovascular technology or a related field
  • Certifications: Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Registration
