Bilingual Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a leader in their respective manufacturing niche, is seeking a skilled Bilingual HR Generalist to join their team in Concord, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit top talent, conduct interviews, and make informed hiring decisions.
  • Manage employee benefits, including enrollment and inquiries, to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Address employee relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and best practices.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee health and safety programs, conduct regular inspections, and provide training to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • CHRP or CHRL certification is a plus, but not required.
