We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Supervisor to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading the establishment and administration of HR personnel policies and practices that reflect the spirit of the Magna Employee's Charter.
Your primary focus will be on supporting our internal and external customers' requirements in a prompt, courteous, and timely manner. You will lead and facilitate functional training & development initiatives, oversee and coordinate the daily performance of the worksite, and ensure a high level of compliance in accordance with Co-Ex-Tec's policies and procedures.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business results and improve employee engagement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all legal, health and safety, personal, and production-related issues.
- Lead day-to-day activities and resolve personnel issues to ensure production goals are met.
- Bridge communication between shifts and facilitate effective collaboration among team members.
- Assist in administering work shortage cycles to ensure the company meets its customers' needs and employees are treated fairly and consistently.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in business or related field and/or Human Resources certification, preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Human Resources field within a manufacturing environment.
- Well-developed communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work primarily on night/afternoon shifts and flexibility in terms of working hours.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
