Job Title: Procurement & Inventory Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Inventory Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing team, managing inventory levels, and implementing effective supply chain strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the purchasing team and ensure timely receipt of inputs for production
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records through cyclical counting and regular system maintenance
  • Implement and maintain acceptable inventory levels and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Provide leadership in purchasing activities, including strategic negotiation with suppliers
  • Contribute to quality management team to supplier qualification and external audits
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, supplier evaluation, and delivery ratings

Main Management Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise a team of 4 people and provide performance reviews, training, and coaching
  • Plan work assignments and ensure objectives are clearly understood
  • Participate in job interviews for team members in collaboration with HR
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment and positive relations with employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting, or operations management, or relevant experience
  • At least five years' experience in a manufacturing field and in inventory control, purchasing, and management accounting
  • Highly proficient with ERP, transactional, and reporting systems
  • Good understanding of production processes and material flows
  • Experience as a manager/supervisor of a team of 3 to 5 employees or more is an asset
