Assistant Professor Position in Environmental Chemistry and Health

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Environmental Chemistry and Health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental chemistry and a demonstrated ability to conduct innovative and independent research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in environmental chemistry and health, with a focus on the interactions between chemical contaminants and cells, biomolecules, and target organisms.
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemistry and environmental science.
- Establish a strong research program and secure external funding to support research activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences and the Scarborough Academy of Medicine and Integrated Health (SAMIH).
Requirements:
- PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching.
- Expertise in environmental chemistry and bioanalytical chemistry and/or biological chemistry.
- Ability to establish a strong research program and secure external funding.
