About the Opportunity
The Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Toronto Scarborough invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the area of Statistical Sciences. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to an undergraduate curriculum in the health sciences
- Establish an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program
- Participate in initiatives associated with the new Scarborough Academy of Medicine and Integrated Health (SAMIH)
Requirements
- PhD degree in Statistics or a related area
- Record of excellence in research and teaching
- Established strength in statistical theory and methods relevant to the health sciences
