Environmental Services Assistant

At CCBS MAINTENANCE LTD, we are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Services Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in their work.
About the RoleThe Environmental Services Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, disinfecting operating rooms and other areas, cleaning and disinfecting elevators, and picking up debris and emptying trash containers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, offering mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, and providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Indigenous PeopleWe are committed to creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous people and offer various support programs including mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities, cultural competency training and awareness training, and facilitating access to Elders who can offer support and guidance.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent full-time position with 30-40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, based on experience, and a supportive work environment that values diversity and inclusion.
