We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Lead to manage projects related to contaminated sites, groundwater monitoring, and environmental consulting in British Columbia.

Job Description
  • Administer programs in scientific fields, advising senior executives on environmental issues related to the company's activities.
  • Analyze samples of gases and vapors, conduct research, and document investigations and conclusions/recommendations.
  • Monitor budgets allocated to environmental programs, report information to supervisors, and provide consulting services to government and other organizations.

Key responsibilities include managing environmental field work programs, mentoring and training staff, ensuring work is done safely and correctly, and preparing and issuing invoices to clients.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience in contaminated sites/reclamation/natural sciences in BC, with 5+ years of project management experience, and a technical diploma or degree in a related discipline.

Requirements
  • Technical expertise in contaminated sites management, including experience in managing technically complex projects and working with a dynamic team.
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to safety and ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines, particularly in BC.
