The Pod Group is partnering with a leading non-profit organization to find a highly skilled and compassionate leader to fill the role of Director, Client Services for Mental Health.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families in Peel. As a key member of the organization's leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mental health services in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to program staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement effective programs and services that address the needs of the community, including conducting research and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of programs, including budgeting, resource allocation, and staffing.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with other organizations, government agencies, and community stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor and evaluate program outcomes and impact.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of social service programs, policies, and regulations.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or public administration, and membership in a relevant professional association.
  • Ten years of progressively responsible managerial roles in service development and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement client-centred strategies and services.
  • A solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation, with the ability to develop and manage budgets.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and understanding of diversity, inclusivity, and equity issues.
