About the Role

The Global Accounts Director at EDC is a critical position that drives business growth through international financing solutions. As a key member of the Structured and Project Finance Team, you will build and manage a portfolio of large strategic clients, leveraging your expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet their evolving needs.

This role offers an opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with senior management at key clients, driving business growth and expansion through innovative financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and develop strategic financing opportunities that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with product teams to deliver financing solutions that drive client growth.
  • Lead the development of client strategies, ensuring a deep understanding of client business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and coach a virtual account team to drive client relationship growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, including client relationship management and international financing transactions.
  • Advanced knowledge of structured and project finance transactions, corporate finance, and strategic account management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
